ILF resents notices to PTI leader

PESHAWAR: The Insaf Lawyers Forum said on Monday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman’s mobile phone was confiscated at the time of his arrest from the Islamabad High Court.

Speaking at a press conference, Insaf Lawyer’s Forum provincial president Qazi Anwar said that the FIA had issued notices to the PTI leaders after sharing of a post from the account of the PTI founding chairman Imran Khan.He said the accusation against the PTI leadership regarding the post on social media platform X was baseless as the mobile phone, passport and other documents were snatched from him when he was arrested.

Qazi Anwar said that Pakistan had banned X and questioned how someone made a post on it, saying that the social media platform was not working in the country.He said that the PTI workers and leaders were arrested on May 9 and now they were being asked to apologise.
